Who we are

The network was founded in December 2023 by a group of activists from different countries including Iraq, Lebanon, and Jordan, who met in Utrecht, Netherlands, under the sponsorship of the IFG Foundation. They agreed to work together for a green future for our region, aiming to achieve this through action, networking, research, advocacy, and youth-led development projects in the Middle East and North Africa.

MENA Green Movement Network (MGMN) is a regional youth network focused on climate action led by youth in the Middle East and North Africa. It includes activists, and civil society organisations. Its main mission is to promote the green agenda within the region from a youth perspective.
